Roof Replacement With a Documented Scope
Replacing a roof is more than installing new shingles. A complete replacement plan should explain what materials will be removed, which roof areas are included, what products will be installed and how important details such as flashing, underlayment, roof edges and penetrations will be handled. Pro Installations provides free inspections and estimates so homeowners can understand the proposed work before construction begins.
Roofing Materials and Installation
Our residential roofing work includes architectural asphalt shingles and synthetic felt. Depending on the selected project, available product options may include materials from TAMKO, GAF and Owens Corning.
The written scope should also address relevant substrate conditions, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, roof penetrations, skylight details, tear-off requirements and cleanup.
Our Roof Replacement Process
The process begins with an inspection and written proposal. After the project is approved, our team coordinates materials, scheduling and applicable permits.
Once existing roofing materials are removed, previously concealed conditions may become visible. When additional work is necessary, those conditions should be documented and discussed before the scope is changed.
Insurance-Related Roof Replacement
For storm-related projects, we can document the construction requirements, review the carrier’s scope and submit supported omitted items through our Supplements Department. The insurance carrier remains responsible for determining coverage and payment.
Warranty and Financing
Pro Installations provides a 10-year workmanship warranty subject to written warranty terms. Manufacturer warranties vary according to the product selected. Financing may also be available to eligible customers through Service Finance, subject to lender approval and terms.
